The meetings of the England & Wales Discussion Circle will focus on topics that are pertinent to the whole of England and Wales. These will include topics such as census records, poor laws, workhouses, education, health, political and social conditions.
The meetings are run by members for members and we welcome ideas and assistance on topics that you would like to discuss.
If you have topics that relate to a particular place or region, these can be discussed in one or other of our regional English Discussion Circles. And if you are delving deeper into the past with your English ancestry (pre-1800), then our Early English Discussion Circle is ready to assist.
Who may join?
The England & Wales Discussion Circle is open only to GSV Members as part of their annual subscription. There is no additional fee.
