Preservation of photographs, books and paper-based items

This event is currently full. However you can register now and get added to a waiting list. You will be notified if spaces become available.

Presenter: Conservator, Debra Parry. Many people have precious items such as documents, photographs, memorabilia, artwork, or other items they would like to preserve and pass down to descendants. Such items are often in poor condition due to improper storage, display or handling.

This presentation will provide information on how materials deteriorate and how to properly handle, store and display items to preserve them for the future.

Bookings are essential and can be made by email, online, in person or by phone (Mon-Fri 9.00am-4.00pm).

This is a free event for Rare Book Week, and is open to non-members.
